If you are comfortable measuring your own walls, we have some helpful and important measuring tips here.

When measuring please ensure you measure the widest and highest points of your wall ignoring all windows, doors, recesses and skirting boards.

You only need to provide the exact measurements. You do not need to add buffer as we'll do that for you during the artwork stage.

For full rooms, complicated walls with lots of obstructions or irregular shapes, our advice is to hire our team to measure for you to avoid any errors or unnecessary artwork revisions or reprints.

If you select 'We deliver. We install', the installation costs are included in the price of your wallpaper. If you select 'We deliver. You install', we will ship your wallpaper to your UAE address and you can install yourself or hire your own installers.

We only offer DIY installation for our traditional and removable peel and stick wallpapers. We do not offer DIY installation for our seamless or vinyl materials.

If you live outside of the Dubai Emirate, there is a travel/fuel surcharge. When ordering your wallpaper, please select the fuel surcharge that applies to the area you live and wish us to travel to. 

If your wallpaper is taller than 380cm for health and safety reasons, we will need to charge a AED500 scaffolding fee. This fee is applicable due to the extra time and staff required to assemble and dissemble the scaffolding plus truck transportation. We will contact you if this fee applies and will send you a payment link before installation.

BEFORE INSTALLATION  
Before your wallpaper is installed, please ensure:

1. You have read our installation overview and understand our terms.
2. You have prepared your wall correctly for your selected material. 

Sample sizes
Our samples are W30cm x H40cm and the cost is AED40. If you would like to order a different sample size you can choose 'custom size' and order the size that works best for your project. 

Sample delivery
Please allow 2-4 business days for sample delivery. We custom print your sample so we require time to print and prepare it for delivery. We do not hold sample stock so each sample is printed just for you. Once it is printed, it will be collected by a courier the next business day and delivered the following business day, provided the courier has been able to reach you. 

Why are samples important?
There are three very important reasons why ordering samples is a must:

1. The wallpaper imagery and room settings on our site are for visual purposes only.  Computer monitors and mobile phone screens are not 100% accurate representations of your wallpaper's final colours. 
2. Different materials absorb ink differently, so ordering a sample on the material you wish to install your wallpaper on is a must.
3. We print your wallpaper in a unique batch just for you. We don't print by the roll so our colours can change depending on which day we print and the batch of material we print on. If you order a sample, we keep a record of your sample and can match your sample perfectly to your final wallpaper

Let us know you ordered a sample
Before we print your final wallpaper, we always ask our customers to let us know if they ordered a sample. This is very important so that we can match your final wallpaper to the colours in your sample. If you do not let us know you ordered a sample, we cannot perfectly match your wallpaper.

Our terms regarding samples

1. Stories For Walls does not accept any liability for colour or design discrepancies, for any wallpaper orders that were not initiated with a sample print.
2. If you have ordered a sample but do not advise us, we cannot perfectly match your sample to your final wallpaper print.
3. Samples older than one month may be regarded as expired. We will happily reprint you a new sample if required.

Understanding wallpaper batches
Many wallpaper companies print by the roll. This means they print a design in large batches and keep stock. The colours will remain consistent for each batch. However, if you don't order enough material and find you have to order extra rolls, there's a chance that your second order will be printed in a different batch on a different day, and will no longer match the colours of your original order.

We operate differently.

We are a custom printing wallpaper company. We don't print our murals by the roll. Instead we customise the design for our customer's wall size and then print their wallpaper in one unique batch just for them. To ensure this process runs smoothly, we rely on samples to ensure your final wallpaper is the colour you love. If you ordered samples let us know, we will make sure your sample colours match your final wallpaper.

If you would like to cancel your wallpaper and receive a refund you must do so before your artwork is created and sent to you for approval. Artworks usually take 1-3 days to be presented after you have made your purchase. If you cancel after your artwork has been presented (but before printing), we will happily refund your wallpaper less a 1 hour artwork fee (AED150) We cannot not cancel your wallpaper once it has been printed.

If you would like to completely change your wallpaper design before printing this is possible however, if your artwork has already been presented there will be a 1 hour artwork fee (AED150) added to your order to redo your artwork. If you change the design before we have presented your artwork there is no fee to change the design.

Stories For Walls does not offer returns or exchanges for any reason except for damaged or defective prints. Stories For Walls does not hold stock. Every order is made to print and therefore, every order is made and prepared just for our customers.
