The seamless sample is made from strong and flexible polyester. In order for us to install your wallpaper as one large seamless piece of material, we need to work with a material that has strong fibres and resistant to tearing. The polyester material is easy to clean, doesn’t scratch and of course has no joins so it’s a very popular choice. Furthermore, when you hod the sample in your hand it is flexible and bendy and can catch the light, however when it’s on your wall it is firmly pasted and looks very matte. Once installed, it does not look or feel like plastic at all.

If you would like to see our full range of products our website is our best catalogue. Every product that we sell is always displayed on our website and every design is always available. You can also order a sample from any product page on our website.

We do not offer a face to face design consultation with our customers. We believe this type of service is better left to professional interior designers and stylists who are specialised in reading your room and advising the best design for your room’s layout and decor. We work closely with many wonderful interior design and styling companies in Dubai, and can recommend several designers and stylists that may be able to assist you and give you a one to one consultation. If you would like some recommendations, please let us know.

We can however, share some advice over WhatsApp. If you would like to share a photo of your room we are happy to help. Please share some basic information regarding the room’s use, i.e. its function, if it’s for a child, the age and sex of the child, and any colour/design preferences you had in mind. That information will help us choose a few design options we think might be suitable. Please note, that any design options we provide a subjective and your final decision is ultimately your choice.

The only home visit service we do offer is our wall measuring service. (You can order this measuring service here: https://uae.storiesforwalls.com/products/wall-assessment-measuring-service). The team that visits to fulfil this service are NOT stylists or wallpaper consultants and will not provide wallpaper advice.

Yes! All of our designs are always in stock. Only the materials we print on can be out of stock from time to time but this is rare.

Yes. Depending upon your design request, we have an experienced design team who can create new designs however, it is up to the discretion of our design team whether to take on your project. Our design team will assess your design request before agreeing and will only begin work if:

• Your design request fits with their design style and skill set
• The design team has availability in their schedule
• You have agreed to the time frame to create your new design
• You have agreed to the design fee and paid upfront before they start

We have 4 tiers of design as follows:

AED150 - 1-2 hour design for minor modifications to an existing design on our store or a wall mock up showing one of our designs in your space. Includes a sample.

AED350 - 2-5 hour design for a simple straight forward pattern design. Includes a sample.

AED550 - 5-10 hour design for a more detailed pattern or simple mural design. Includes a sample.

AED750 - 10+ hour design for a full scale, detailed mural design or intricate pattern. Includes a sample

If you already have a design created, please send us your original file and we will advise whether your design has appropriate resolution to be enlarged for your wall.

Other than personal photos of your family or personal images or designs supplied to us, any designs that Stories For Walls creates for you are the property of Stories For Walls and we reserve the right to sell the finished design on our store. Stories For Walls owns all intellectual property of all designs created however, we will never sell any designs that were created by you or include photos of your family/loved ones.

In a word, no. If you are trying to match wallpaper whites with paint colours in your room, we recommend ordering a sample first and matching your white paint to the wallpaper white because:

1. onscreen colours can never exactly match the finished printed product.
2. industrial printers do not print white ink.

With industrial printing a subtractive process is used and any white in the design is left blank and relies on the colour of the material. i.e. if an area in the design is white, then the printer leaves it blank and let's the material’s natural white colour show through instead. Every material has varying shades of white so it's impossible to predict how the white of the material will match the whites in your room. Some materials' natural colours are more creamy, some are brighter white, some are grey white and some are bluish white.

Samples are the only way to ensure you match your colours correctly and you do not get any surprises with the finished product. 

No problem. If you do not wish to see any joins on your installed wallpaper we recommend ordering our seamless pasted. This material is a seamless wallpaper and will not have any joins at all.

No. Stories For Walls is a made to measure wallpaper service. We customise our designs to suit your wall’s dimensions so that you do not have to purchase extra material (or have any shortages). Your final wallpaper is fitted perfectly to your wall.

If you would like to hang a wallpaper in a bathroom or water closet, you must select our self adhesive vinyl material. As long as the room will not have consistent high humidity (i.e. not a room that has regular showers every day) and is not constantly splashed with water, then the wallpaper should be fine. Our self adhesive vinyl material can be lightly splashed and wiped down with a damp cloth to clean. However, do not let your wallpaper get continually wet or sit in water otherwise the adhesive will soften and weaken and the wallpaper will begin to peel. Please note that we cannot predict or accurately know exactly how much water is being splashed onto your wallpaper in a bathroom or water closet environment, and as such we do not offer any guarantee or free repair service for this material installed within these types of rooms.

We sure can! All ceiling wallpapers must be printed on our vinyl material as it is the most light weight material. Please note, any installations on ceilings require scaffolding. For health and safety reasons, we will need to install your wallpaper using scaffolding which incurs a flat fee of AED500 regardless of which emirate you reside in. This fee is charged to cover the truck transport and the team's extra time to assemble and disaemble the scaffolding after the installation is complete.

Measurements for ceilings can also be very tricky to get right so we recommend hiring our team to measure your ceiling for you.

We can install on any wall height. However, if your wall is over 380cm tall, for health and safety reasons, we will need to install your wallpaper using scaffolding which incurs a flat fee of AED500 regardless of which emirate you reside in. This fee is charged to cover the truck transport and fuel, plus the team's extra time to assemble and disaemble the scaffolding after the installation is complete.

Unfortunately we cannot deliver framed posters outside of the Dubai emirate due to couriers not accepting glass. If your frame is broken, couriers will not accept any liability and as such, we request any frame orders placed with Stories For Walls by customers outside of the Dubai emirate, to be collected from our framers in Satwa, Dubai. Our framed orders for Dubai customers are delivered by our Satwa framers.

If you reside outside of the Dubai emirate and cannot arrange collection of your frame, we can ask our Satwa framers to deliver to your emirate but an extra cost will incur (price dependent on your area). We will send you a link for you to purchase your extra delivery costs online.

Yes we can install in all emirates of the UAE. For installations outside of the Dubai emirate there is a fuel surcharge to cover the team's extra travel time and fuel. The cost is dependant upon the area in which you reside ranging from AED50 to AED200.

No, currently we do not offer international delivery. All deliveries must be sent to a UAE address.

To start your order you will first need to know your wall's measurements. You will need to measure your wall (in cm) or order our measuring service here. Once you have your wall’s exact width and height (there’s no need to add wastage as we’ll do that for you), you have two options:

1. Order online
   If you already have the exact width and height of your wallpaper, you can order directly from the product page of the design you wish to order on our website. When you visit the page, choose your preferred material and then select the ‘custom size’ dropdown. Enter your wall's measurements into the fields. Then choose your installation preference and the calculator will show you the price. You can choose to add the wallpaper to your shopping cart and check out. 
   
2. Ask us for a quotation
   If you are unsure of ordering online, drop us an email at sales@storiesforwalls.com or message us on WhatsApp 058 556 7718 and we would be happy to assist. Once we know your wall’s exact measurements, we can provide a quotation and send you a payment link to purchase online.e.

When measuring please ensure you measure the widest and highest points of your wall ignoring all windows, doors, recesses and skirting boards. For straight forward walls there are only two measurements we need. The exact width and the exact height. You do not need to add any wastage as we’ll do that for you later. 

Please only use a tape measure. Never use your phone as measuring apps can produce inconsistent and unreliable results. We also have some helpful tips for measuring here.

For full rooms, complicated walls with lots of obstructions or irregular shapes, our advice is to hire our team to measure for you to avoid any errors or unnecessary artwork revisions or reprints.

Yes! If you want installation we can install for you. If you are ordering online, make sure you select 'We deliver. We Install’ and installation will be automatically included in the price of your wallpaper.

If you select 'We deliver. You install', we will ship your wallpaper to your UAE address and you can install yourself (or hire your own installers).

Please note: When ordering online, you can only order wallpapers without installation for our traditional and removable peel and stick wallpapers. If you would like to install our seamless material yourself, you will need to contact us to place your order. Seamless wallpapers are too long to ship by courier so you will need to personally collect from our Dubai Production City warehouse.

Any wallpapers you choose to self install are installed at your own risk. If there are any errors during installation that require reprints, this will be at the customer's expense.

Please let us know how soon you need the wallpaper installed? Our schedule is usually booked out at least 5 days ahead but if you share your requirements we may be able to assist.

If you do require a wallpaper within  5 working days turnaround (i.e. from purchase to installation) this will be considered a rushed job. An additional 5% surcharge may be added to your final invoice.

We offer 4 great materials.  There are different things to consider so we have created this handy check list of factors to consider when choosing here. Our most popular material is our seamless material, but we also have other great products. The best way to make your final decision is to always order a sample.

If you are a renter, or cannot remember the type of paint you last used on your wall, this checklist might help you determine whether your wall surface is appropriate for our self adhesive materials. However please note, the current checklist is by no means an absolute or indisputable method to ascertain whether your wall has been painted with a product that has reflective characteristics. If in doubt, we always recommend to sand back and repaint with a water based primer.

1. Does your wall have a sheen or glossy finish?

2. Does your wall feel silky smooth to the fingertips?

3. Can you easily wipe away dirt from your wall with a damp cloth without damaging the paintwork or leaving marks?

4. Is your wall scuff resistant and hard to leave marks on?

5. Have decals or stickers fallen down from your wall in the past?

If you have answered yes to 2 or more of these questions, there's a high probability that your wall has been painted with a product that has some degree of repelling/wash and wear characteristics i.e. Teflon, Latex, Silicon or similar. We would advise to err on the side of caution and at minimum, lightly sand back your wall to gently add some texture to your wall surface and remove the top reflective coat of your wall's surface. For best results, after sanding back your wall, add a water based primer.

We do not accept any liability for our self adhesive wallpapers if they fall down. If your wallpaper falls down, this is evidence that your paint surface is repelling the adhesive and needs to be sanded back and painted again with a water based primer. 

Our seamless pasted and traditional pasted materials are pasted onto your wall using a strong wallpaper glue. Once the design has been stuck to your wall it cannot be repositioned or reused, and removal will require special tools that will likely remove some paintwork. Once it is removed, you will need to sand back your wall and repaint it. 

Our removable peel and stick material is completely repositionable and removable however, due to various conditions of customer's walls and the qualities of paints used on their walls, we cannot 100% guarantee that any paintwork will be not be lifted when you remove your wallpaper. To minimise any risk of removing paintwork, we always recommend peeling your wallpaper down against itself both slowly and carefully at a 180° angle.

Because Stories For Walls  cannot be certain of the types of paints that have been used on your walls prior to installation, or the exact conditions your wallpaper is frequently subjected to, we cannot offer a long term warranty. Furthermore, due to the high temperatures of the UAE, residential homes are constantly subjected to extreme heat over the summer months and as such, none of our wallpaper manufacturers will offer UAE distributors any warranty on wallpapers intended for the UAE market. However as a courtesy to our UAE customers, we offer a free repair service within the first 12 months of installation to any wallpapers that are subject to peeling. (For customers residing outside of the Dubai emirate, there is a AED150 fuel surcharge). If your wallpaper peels after this 12 month period, our team can revisit for a repair fee of AED150. (Fuel surcharge of AED150 applies for customers outside of the Dubai emirate).”

Stories For Walls is a bespoke wallpaper company that does not hold stock. Once you have made your online purchase, you have entered an agreement with Stories For Walls to begin work on your project. Your order is prepared and custom printed just for you. For this reason, Stories For Walls cannot not offer returns, exchanges or refunds for any printed wallpaper unless it is a defective print. If a print or product is believed to be defective, please get in touch within 7 days of receiving your order and provide clear photos so that we may assess the issue.

No problem. We can provide your wallpaper with or without installation. For DIY installations (i.e. Do It Yourself), you have two options:

No. If you have ordered the traditional or seamless materials for DIY installation we do not supply the glue. You can purchase a regular wallpaper glue from any leading hardware store. If you have ordered our removable peel and stick material you do not need to buy extra glue as that material is self-adhesive and you can stick it directly to your wall.

Stories For Walls does not usually have sales. Instead if your order is over 15sqm, we offer a 10% volume discount plus free measuring and 3 free samples. From time to time we may offer a promotion in conjunction with an influencer or partner stylist. 

Our website does not allow discount codes to be entered for wallpapers. If you wish to order a wallpaper and have a special discount code please message us with the details on WhatsApp 058 556 7718 or email us at sales@storiesforwalls.com. We will check the validity of the code and send you a payment link with the discount included.

If a print or product is believed to be defective, please get in touch within 7 days of receiving your order and provide clear photos so that we may assess the issue.

Thanks for purchasing with us. Once you have paid for your wallpaper, the following steps will apply:

1. Your order will go into our schedule and our operations manager will be in touch to schedule your installation date. 
2. Our designers will start working on your artwork and share this with you once it’s complete. Please note nothing is printed until you have received the artwork and approved it for printing. Our turn around time to share your artwork may vary depending upon our current work load. Our usual turn around time is approximately 2-4 days. 
3. Once you have received your artwork please let us know if you’re happy for us to start printing. Your artwork must be reviewed carefully by you ensuring no mistakes are sent to print. You must approve artwork in writing by responding to the artwork email or you can contact the design team directly on WhatsApp +61 400 740 780). The timeframe for artwork approval will be pending the speediness of your response.
4. Once you have approved your wallpaper it will be sent to print. If you have selected installation we will visit you on the agreed date for installation. If you have chosen DIY installation, you will be provided a tracking number once it has been dispatched.

Cancellation of orders does depend on the status of your order. If your artwork has already been created and emailed to you (but not printed), a cancellation fee of AED150 will be deducted from your wallpaper refund to cover our designers’ costs to create your wallpaper artwork. If your wallpaper has been already been printed, your order cannot be cancelled. If your artwork has not been sent or printed, then you are welcome to a full refund.

If you contact us before your artwork is emailed to you, there is no fee for change of mind.

If your artwork has already been created and emailed to you (but not printed), Stories For Walls may charge a design fee of AED150 to recreate your new artwork.

Regardless of whether you’re an experienced DIY-er, or installing your very first wallpaper, we have a great installation guide to support you here. With our step by step instructions, you can feel confident that you can install your beautiful new peel and stick removable wallpaper like a pro!.

If your wallpaper is peeling or falling down, this is evidence that your wall's paint surface is repelling the adhesive. If it is only peeling a little, we can add some double sided tape to help stop the peeling. If your wallpaper is falling down, then your wallpaper needs to be removed and your wall needs to be sanded back and repainted with a water based primer. Both our Peel & Stick Removable Wallpaper and our Self Adhesive Vinyl Wallpaper both have specific paint surface requirements to ensure they stick to your wall long term. Preparing your wall correctly for your preferred wallpaper material is the customer's responsibility. You can read more about these wall surface requirements here.

Air bubbles can sometimes naturally form under our wallpapers shortly after installation. If there are noticeable air bubbles immediately after installation, please advise our team before they leave your premises and they will remove them or call us and we'll send the team back within the first 12 months of installation.

Did you order a sample before you ordered your full wallpaper? 

Please note that onscreen colours never match the finished printed product so if you have any queries or concerns regarding the colours we recommend you order a sample first. Stories For Walls does not accept any liability for colour discrepancies for any wallpaper orders that were not initiated with a sample print.
